REGIONAL AND STATE SO COMPETITION: Want to start an
Elementary Science Olympiad in your district?

Asked Questions. Top teams will be eligible to
attend the Florida State Competition in May at the University of Central
Florida. Want to attend
 a regional ESO competition? Register
for the ESO competition. The registration fee will cover your regional
and state fee. School may register multiple teams to attend a regional
competition.

The competition is open to
grades 3-5. Teams of up to
12 will compete in 12 different events
first at the regional level at various
locations and then for those that
qualify on May 15, 2010 at the
University of Central Florida at the
State Competition. A description
of the events are listed below.
Membership fee of $110 for the first
team entered, early registration ($135
late), and schools can enter as many
teams as they would like (see below the
multiple team fee) for the regional
level but only one team will be able to
represent a school at the state level if
the school qualifies.

All schools MUST register online. Payment
methods include credit card, purchase order, or check. Schools
paying using a purchase order or check will receive an invoice by
e-mail for payment. All payees will receive a receipt by
email.
Fees include: Regional and state membership, national membership,
and one coaches manual, one regional competition registration for one
team. Coaches manual will be emailed once payment is received.
